My childhood calls out to me as I smell my roommate’s taquitos cooking. Corn tortillas, soggy in the microwave…melty cheese and chicken too hot to touch until it has cooled. Ah, taquitos. But oh! My heart weeps. For I am a vegetarian now, and the unique pleasure of a frozen, chicken-based snack will never belong to me again. Cause it’s like, gross and stuff. But I mean UGH, taquitos were so good.
